I am looking for a photo which was once used in Steel Panthers: World at War for the cavalry units. Description: winter setting, romanian soldier wearing a fur hat (not the russian style), he was smiling and has a mustache (just like Hitler's lol), he was carrying a weapon on his back, maybe a Ppsh-41 because the barrel had holes in it (maybe even a MG34). Thanks in advance. 8)

A very similar (albeit not identical) photo was published in Mark Axworthy's book, 'Third Axis, Fourth Ally', in the first, unnumbered photo section.
The weapon the Rumanian soldier carries is not a PPSh, but a rifle. The moustache worn by Hitler wasn't invented by him. It was a fashionable moustache. Even my grandfather use to have it in his youth, and he was older than Hitler. Finally, as a sidenote, I believe that particular soldier is a relative of one of the forum's members. |
