I just found this. It's heavy, over 4 cm wide, obviously had something to do with artillery but other that this I have no idea what it is.
Have anyone seen something similar? What could it be used for? Thanks -------------------- ~

Possibly for fixing to a helmet as insignia?? The style suggests a French Item to me.

During the 1920's - 1930's period, many uniform insignia and uniform accoutraments were supplied by the French to the Romanian military. Many Romanian military buttons were made in France and took French designs. This particular button I beleive was attached to a leather horses bridle harness.

I also thought that it may be something horse related.
