hey,
i wondered if anyone could point me to the correct colors used with the painting on the R2 tank. Looked through several of the tank threads, but couldnt really find anything. Thanks alot |

really no one?
maybe someone can tell me something about turret numbers and symbols. On the R2 in Bucharest one sees the symbol beside the tank number. Is this a general marking which could be found on all tanks or rather a division insignia or individual marking. Whats the Sr.87. on the side. ty |

hm, thanks, searching for the r2 threads is not that easy with the 4 letter restriction of the site search
any info on the second part of my question? |

Sr. 87 was that specific R-2's serial number.

I believe the R-2s were delivered in the standard khaki in use by Czechoslovak forces at the time. It would be similar to the green shade on this vehicle:
