In Italy in 1918 ,from A.U. p.o.w. of Ruemanian etnia ,was formated a Legion , who was later , after the end of the war ,send directly in Romania , to fought the red Hungarians . I know the men have uniforms in Italian grigio/verde but with Rumenian grade and badge . They must have also a "mostrina" (collar tab) of 3 strips in the colours of the Rumanian flag .
Have someone photos or informations about?

Please excuse my ignorance, but who is Robert M. Bell?
Is he a historian by chance?

Many thanks.

This link provides exhaustive list of what's available at Cluj University Library (and probably in many other "rich" libraries across Romania). There are at least 4-5 entries just on Romanian Legion in Italy, Romanian prisoners in Italy, a.s.o.
