I work on a new map for the game IL-2, supported greatly by D13th-Mytzu and Toppy. I need to know wether any of the airfields in that area had concrete runways or parking lots in 1941 and or 1944. The places where that could possibly be the case are
- Odessa - Beltsy - Chisianau - Tiraspol - Iasy - Roman - Focsani Who knows wether any of theses airfields had concrete or asphalt ? PS: Here is one pic of the area. It shows all Airfields on the lower 80% map: |

I can say 100% sure that Iasi was not concrete also I am quite certain that Focsani and Roman were not concrete either. Tiraspol might have been concrete - I need to read some books again (not sure but maybe in Dan Stoian's book it mentions something about it). Chisinau I only have pic of it many years before WW2 and it was not concrete but I have no ideea during WW2. Balti I don't know.

If you have any detailed info on "Leipzig" and "Odessa", please put here. What is "Dobran and Georgescu"? Book? Are there pictures? |

We are nearing completion...
I have only put concrete parking areas in Odessa for now, all the rest remains unclear to me... Do any pictures / " proof" exist? In 1941, I think all was witjout concrete, so it is OK to leave this out anyway... |
