Romanian Intelligence Service in WW1, leaders,actions,foreign IS active in Rom

Romanian army faced lots of problems caused by lack of an efficient intelligence service. Among the few successes are those had by Mihail Moruzov in the Danube Delta (he saved cavalry col. Dragu from being executed by the bolsheviks) and Dobrudja (he captured Friedrich von Mayer, head of German intelligence service infiltrated in Dobrudja in 1916).
I wonder if anyone can provide more details on these actions and others as well.
Among disasters, I think the worst was capture by Germans of Romanian plans for Arges-Neajlov battle at the moment when its fate was not yet decided and a German division was totally anihilated, with 2,000 prisoners being paraded on Calea Victoriei in Bucharest.

PS. Any data available from official German sources on this Friedrich von Mayer? When was he sent by the famous colonel Walther Nikolai ? Did anyone see Nicolai's book on German Intelligence Service in WW1 published in London in 1924 ?

It shows that German, AH, Bulgarian and Turk spies swarmed all over Romania long before WW1, collecting lot of useful stuff from ignorant or "interested" Romanian citizens. And most of them, EXPATS working in Romania. Just like today, everywhere in the world. Professor Iorga described very well ignorance of top officers a few months before the war starts !
