Hi! Does anyone know the specific rank of General Vasilie Anastasiu...Lt. Gen.? Did he hold this rank at the time of his appointment to command 1st Army? Thanks for any assistance!

He was promoted lt. gen. on 18 July 1942, when he was the CO of the 3rd Corps.
On 11 April 1945, when he was the CO of the 1st Army he was promoted to the rank of general (****)
