Romanian R.S.C. Md 1924, in fact it's an French 1917 A.R.S. gas mask with the instruction paper changed. I have only the metal container, the mask and the straps are missing however the container is in good condition with most of it's original pain.

In these pictures notice that bottom of the Sarogaz container is unmarked.

In these pictures notice the different bottom on the two F.M.P. canisters (in 1938 and in 1939)

Romanian 1950's gas mask bag. It is a copy of the Russian gas mask bag that held a Romanian made GP-5 gas mask with hose and filter.
About a month a go I have seen a Romanian 1950 face mask for 3ron, the same face mask is now for sale at an antic shop in Bucharest for 105ron blink.gif (I'm not joking). mad.gif

The pictures:

Inside, under the gas mask filter were two bits of wood that raised the filter and avoided the asphyxiation of the soldier that used it (the two bits of wood were fitted in these pockets).

Inside I now keep my Gp-5 gas mask pictured in the first post.
