Romanian arms imports, by source

Does anyone know of any book that mentions Romania's arms imports by source in the inter-war period? If you can and like to offer some data that would be great too.

BTW, I've noticed that the old books store also has 11 issues of inter-war "Revista Infanteriei". I'm not interested in buying them, but some members reading these lines could be.

Hi guys, I received the book and here are its table of contents:

1. European Political and Military State of Affairs During the First Post-War Decade

2. The Defence Policy of Romania After the Making of the National Unitary State

3. The Military Conventions

4. The Organization, Equipment and Training of the Armed Forces

5. The European Hotbed of War

6. The Evolution of Romania's Military Alliances

7. Military Strategy Guidelines for Defending the Country

8. Preoccupations for Strengthening the Defence Capacity

The annexes do not contain tables of arms imports. From what I saw from browsing the book it seems bits of info are included but I'll have to see whether they're any good in forming a comprehensive picture of arms imports.

I have published a book about the Polish export of arms nad military equipment during interwar period a few years ago. There is a "Romanian" sub-chapter either (not the smallest ).

Yes, woj, but is it in English, as well? That's the problem with many history writings that are not easy to be found in a "largely used foreign language" (AKA English or at least Engrish )
I have to say that after Poland's defeat, some weapons "ended" in the custody of the Romanian army - tanks, planes and such...

My book is in Polish, unfortunately (English edition possible - but a few years must pass, I am afraid). Text in foreign language (unknown to you) could be still usefull - be sure. For example - I do not speak Romanian.

I second Woj's opinion.
I have hundreds of aviation related books in languages I don't understand. And then I have hundreds of books in German, language which I know only about 50%.
They are all good reference sources, valuable in research work.

Some of the data would still be available, as the numbers are written in the same way, but sometimes one has to understand the "fine nuances" in order to obtain the whole picture. It's arguable...

Romania and Germany signed an addition to the “weapons vs. oil” sales contract, which supposed to increase with 30% the supplyes of Romanian oil to Germany in exchange for weapons seized by the germans in Poland in 1939.

My question is : what polish weapons ?

E.g., PWS-26 trainer airplanes. 27 of them were sold by the Germans to the Rumanians.

According to my data the agreement was signed on 7th March, 1940. 360 AT guns 37 mm wz. 36,10 AA guns 40 mm wz. 36, 80 filed guns 75 mm wz. 1897 was sold.

Between Germany and Romania was signed an agreemen on the supply of Romanian oil to Germany, according to which for this the supply of oil, Germany assumed the mission to provide for the Romanian army modern military equipment and weapons. (Treaty of oil-weapons ")
