Dear gents,

One question - does anyone knows about German units (Gebirg ones, to be more specific), that were operating on Romanian soil in 1945 ?

I am inquiring because I have a set of 3 pics (I will attach them soon) of some german gebirgs, and on the back it is written "Rumanien 1945".

Many thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Al

There were no more German troops on Romanian soil in 1945.

And the portrait, with the back writing. By the way, does the landscape looks familiar to someone ?

Looks like the Danube at Bazias, crossing the carpathians.
