does anybody know anything about the fate of this officer after the war?

Major Secareanu was the commander of the 4th battalion of the 36th Regiment in the 9th Infantry Division untill the end of the war. He did not returned home together with the remainings of his troops, but he was last seen when the final retreat order was received in '45 in the company of Russian officers.

Sergeant Zamfir, one of the 23 men that survived from the 4th battalion, would like to know what happened with his commander, the man that he believes to be the one that contributed the most to their survival through that war.
