Hallo Gents,
while visiting Cluj-Napoca on Saturday I discovered the following interesting graves in the Cemetery, can anybody give me any details with regards the soldiers buried there. 1. IOAN COMANESCU 1911 - 1998 Number 2, was hidden between two other head stones for some reason, I am interested in identifying the insignia on the cap. ? - ? - ? - ? AUREL 1927 - 1944. Kevin in Deva. |

The writing says: Aurél Bodor jr. died the hero's death in 1944. Since he was 17 at the time of his death, the photo might show him wearing the cap of the Levente youth organisation. Gen. Dénes This post has been edited by Dénes on June 04, 2008 07:58 am |

Hi NCR, Just wondering, was this the main cemetery or the new Military cemetery on the edge (or just outside) of the city? Thanks. |
