I am trying to bid for this photo on ebay.de, but again the system prevents me from doing it. I am losing my patience with ebay.de

Then Fight the System! (once, in my youth, a slogan written on my T-Shirt). Gen. Dénes |

Sorry for the off-topic message, but I couldn't resist not to post it.
Dear Victor, please be happy... at least you don't find yourself in the situation I'm in: to have some items that you auctioned on e-bay... you paid for... and got lost by the "carirng and responsable" people working at the Romanian Post company. That's a very nice Christmas present I've got from Posta Romana: they lost me items that valued more than 100 euros. |

In situation like that (value > 100 euro), it's always recommended to use registered letter. It's not so expensive and the chances to get lost are minimal. Just an idea, is the sender trustful ?! |

The seller was trustfull, and I've used registered letter... but they still lost my envelope.

That's really tough. How is it possible? Did they trace the letter? I also send and receive international letters (cash is going out and photos coming in, mainly from Germany), on a daily basis, for 10 years now, most of them uninsured, but so far no major loss occurred. If the letter was registered, you have a strong point. Don't give up, make complaints. You should receive at least a part of the value, if not all. |
