I post here two photo (bad quality though) with the grave of major (?) Zarnescu earning MV order. Maybe you know more about him.

I don't have him listed in my ARR accident database.
Can it be that he died of natural causes, or a non-aviation related accident?

He was the CO of the 14th Machine-gun Battalion during 1941. He was not an aviation officer.
