The first batch contains 11 commands that will be distributed next week to the people that ordered. The commands for the next batch will be received and processed next week. As a reminder, the book price is 20RON, and this is the price we will send the book to the interested persons. The price does not include a margin for us. The only tax that one will pay is the transport tax (most probably we will use Romanian POST as carrier). Other people interested may continue to order using the following procedure: Send an email with subject CARTE 01 to: Asociatia "Aripi Romanesti", asociatia @ aripiromanesti.ro , containing the book name, your name, surname and your complete address . We will get the book from the publishing house and will send it to you. The receiver will pay the price at delivery (transport + book price).

Press release for project "CARTE 01" of "Aripi Romanesti" Association
One of the first projects of "ARIPI ROMANESTI" Association is the aquisition and delivery to the interested people of several copies of the "Pe aviatori lasă-i să zboare!/Let the aviators fly!" book (by Gen.Av. Aurel Niculescu & Sorin Turturica, Editura ANIMA, 2008). The project is called "CARTE 01" and it’s purpose is the aquisition of a number of copies (price 20LEI/piece) and delivery by mail (6LEI postal taxes/package – national, for international – depending on the method chosen by the recipient) to the readers that ordered (by e-mail for the moment). Books ordered by the readers will be received by postal mail service and paid on delivery. The payement will include the postal taxes (26LEI) that is to be supported by the receiver. The receivers will also get a notification e-mail confirming the expedition and it’s details.

"Aripi Romanesti" Association is running this project volutarily, without issuing aditional taxes, the cost of the packaging materials (packing paper, protection carboard and glue) being payed by the association.

The project "CARTE 01" started on 04.11.2008, and by today 13.11.2008 there were 16 books requested (in several batches), from which 8 were alredy delivered, 4 are in delivery process by the Romanian Mail, while the other 4 are in packing and sending status (external and recent orders)

"Aripi Romanesti" Association will continue this project for as long as there will be books available on editor's stock and orders will be issued by the readers.

For the next 2 weeks, because some of the volunteers responsible for the "CARTE 01" project will not be available (holiday), orders received in this time frame will be processed after 01.12.2008 (that is 1st of December 2008)

"Aripi Romanesti" Association is a non-governmental and non-political organisation (NGO) and it's purpose is aviation and flight promotion, with a clear focus on Romanian aeronautics and Romanian aviation promotion inside and outside the borders of the country.

"Aripi Romanesti" Association was founded on 02.11.2008, as a result of activities of an intiative group that composed by several romanian flight and aviation enthusiasts.

Those who wish to actively take part in promoting aviation, in education and developing comunication on aviation themes or are willing to involve oneself in our projects are invited to contact the "Aripi Romanesti" Association.
