Escadrila alba, O istorie subiectiva, de Daniel Focsa / Editura Vremea

This is a new book about the Romanian "White Squadron" edited at Vremea publishing house this year. Unfortunatelly already out of stock ?!

I bought it, but didn't have time to browse through it. I think that there were more at Carturesti though. If you want I can take a look later today if they still have it. Let me know by 18:30-19:00 if you are interested.

I have it, it is a good book.

I received it directly from the Author.
It's an interesting, but not exhaustive, book.

3 days after ordering the book on-line at www.buybooks.ro they confirm me, the book is not available. Gee man, what a speed, what an actualized stock on web ?!

The Author, Daniel Focsa, still have it.

Sunt autorul cartii. Nu stiu de ce editura nu mai dispune de ea, nici mie nu imi este clar. Eu mai am cateva exemplare, costa 17 lei, plus taxele postale. Daniel Focsa

Mai este de gasit si la librariuile Carturesti, poate si Eminescu, Minerva (din Bucuresti) si la cele din reteaua CLB, de stat, de exemplu la libraria CLB de visavi de Coltea, langa Vasiliada, exista.

This book doesn t give us to much new information, and really for just a few pages it s too expensive. Too much advertising for nothing.

Continui cu reclama. "Escadrila Alba-o istorie subiectiva", aparuta in conditii grafice excelente, elogios prefatata de Neagu Djuvara, a avut pana in prezent suficiente semnale pozitive. Dupa lansarea ei la targul de carte din iunie, a beneficiat succesiv de mai multre recenzii favorabile, si anume: In prestigioasa "Romania literara" (recenzie semnata de criticul literar Tudorel Urian), in revista "Conexiuni" a comunitatii romanesti din New York (recenzie semnata de George Georgescu), in "Ziarul de Duminica" (supliment de cultura al "Ziarului Financiar" - preezentare) si urmeaza in curand cronici in "Orizont Aviatic" (semnata de istoricul de aviatie si scriitorul Cornel Marandiuc) si in "Ararat", revista de cultura a comunitatii armenilor din Romania. Mai semnalez si o prezentare frumoasa a cartii pe blogul personal al domnului avocat Felix Tudoriu, la rubrica "cronicarul de carte".
