Hi lits,
Romanian Navy Tug Lt. Stoicescu sunk 28 Dec 1941 ( Other source mention winter 1943-44) She disappear during a storm - anti submarine mission near Capul Tuzla. According to this page Lt. Stoicescu belong to the Danube fleet. forum-marinearchive.de Is there a possibility that she didn't sunk in the Tuzla area while she belong to the Danube fleet? Somebody has more information - photo's about this ship? Thanks in advance |

In Constantza were the mil.tugboats Lt.Stoicescu and Slt.Vartosu, designated as antisubmarine security ships.
Here is what I found : According to Bogatyrev & Strelbitsky's "Потери флотов противника на морских ТВД ВOB 1941-44 гг. (The loses of the enemy Navyes on the theatres of war... " : Dec.28th — rom.tugboat Locotenent Stoicescu (230 T), Tendra area, mine. This post has been edited by Petre on December 09, 2009 05:35 am |
