Fruntas Group: Members Posts: 74 Member No.: 429 Joined: December 21, 2004	A war veteran daughter gave me the permision to scan her ww2 pictures of her father and uncle. I found interesting to show you what looks like a Puteaux antitank gun, This gun was destroyed in the Iasi Battle, in august 1944, at Rediu (?) - Tataru.

The name of the hero vas sg. Virgil Vasu (first photo, first person from the right, in the "stand up" row), He was the canon commander and he was a peasant from Arpaşu de Jos (now Sibiu county), he died at Rediu Tătaru (moldova, near Iasi) in 1944.
