Our reenacting group, 3rd volunteers Regiment "Avram Iancu" will celebrate this important day for Romanian Army at the Military Museum from Oradea with a event called "Honour to the colours" (Onor la drapel). We will held a military ceremony consisting from raising the romanian colours on the front of Military Museum on 25th october 2008, in the sound of trumpet and National Anthem. Our volunteers, dressed in WW1 romanian uniforms will make a short presentation about the history of the 3rd volunteers Regiment "Avram Iancu", equipment, weapons, drill and tactics. It will be also a museum tour under the guidance of it"s manager. The entrance is free. Below one can see the poster anouncing the event. We will gladly welcome you at this aniversary day! |
