Dear friends,
I'm an Italian WWI aviation historian and I'm looking for data and pictures of French-built Voisin planes in Romanian air service during WWI. Could you help my researches? Many thanks in advance and my best wishes for an happy new year. Paolo |

"Romania in anii Primului Razboi Mondial" (Romania in the years of the First World War), Bucharest, 1987, volume 1. According to the book,
In 1914, the Romanian Army had the following aircrafts: - 12 BlĂ©riot - 10 Bristol-Coandă - 6 Farman - 1 Vlaicu II - 4 Drachen hot air balloons It seems that the Voisins came later. Here is a better scan of the planes: http://rapidshare.de/files/41274089/Romani...nesWWI.zip.html This post has been edited by bansaraba on January 04, 2009 03:14 pm |
