The daily routine for bombers vas something like :
- Daylight bombing USAF - Night bombing RAF And usualy the daylight bombing raid was followed by an night raid . RAF used night bombing because of much lower strike power (less planes) than USAF |

IAR airplane factory was in Brasov during ww2, and the location is today's tractors factory "UZINA TRACTORUL BRASOV".after the war the factory moved outside the city, betwen Ghimbav and Brasov. and also another target in the city was the oil rafinery , with german administration. until 2-3 years ago was "LUBRIFIN" factory...today in demolition i saw on the site of US foto archive that even my street was hit by bombs |
