Hi guys, I got this hat, I think it is WW2. But I noticed that it has CC cipher on the chest of the bird - this is the cipher of King Carol II, right? So, was that hat used till the late 1940, or continued to be used after King Mihai came to the throne?

Also, is it a pilot hat, or some other related to the Air Force? Is there a difference? And what model is it, which year started to be used? Thank you very much in advance! Here are photos if the hat:
