There is a missing digit after 193 , it is the year of the draft, from the '30s.

If you found the remains of a dead romanian soldier from ww2, you can adress to Romanian National Ofice for Heroes. Here is their adress http://once.ro/
Maybe they can help to a proper burial of the romanian hero you found. |

I just talked with the person who work at ONCE and he advised that you must go to Romanian Ambassy Consulate (Consulatul Roman) from Odessa with details of the romanian soldier, including the precise location of the place where you find it. At the Consulate it is a woman who will take all the informations and she will sent to ONCE in Romania. Another thing told by the person from ONCE , this year (in summer) will be open a romanian WWII cemetery close to Odessa (about 60Km from Odessa to Tiraspol). |
