As I have several such photos, which don't really have a place on the website, I thought that a topic to display them would not be a bad idea.
Here is a photo taken in 1928 in Cernauti at the ceremony of taking the military oath. Mountain troops and infantry units are visible. |

Victor, my book with general Mocanu is almost ready. He was in Military Secondary School in Cernauti. Do you have pictures with Liceul Militar ,,Stefan cel Mare'' or with its leader, colonel Eugen Dragulanescu?

Visctor, conratulation for having this photo. I have seen this one at an antiques fair more than 1 year ago, but i didn't buy it because i was already spend money on airplane pictures. is goo to see it came in good hands.

Just an advice: post smaller photos. This way they cannot be "poached". Or mark them somehow. |

I don't really now! This is one of the mystery of 1929 manoeuvre ! I hope is boiled wine ! Apropos: before entering in a battle the soldiers received a some forme of encouragement ? Like "o suta de tuica"... just for my curiosity...
