Hallo!
I bought a canteen, and the seller told me that it's romanian, from ww2.
It has a mark on it: "HJB42". He told me that 42 is the year when was fabricated.

It is a ww2 regular german canteen. HJB is the makers code and 42 represents de year of manufacture.
It should have this type of markings on the screw cap as well. At least that was their condition when leaving the factory
It is missing the felt cover, the aluminum cup,leather belts and carbine (also usually marked the same).
