Indeed, it has the stamp, and I will not cover it.

I am selling the book as it is, and the source of the book was the fleamarket. As to the book being stolen or not from the Library, that is not my concern, since I have no way to prove it.

dragos, during the communist period lots of books were taken out of libraries and thrown out.
Some had the courage to save them. It is possible that even this book might be one of those. I have some of these books like Eminescu’s Political Writings, Nicolar Iorga, poets, etc, and the collectors’ fairs and fleamarkets are full of such books.
i'm sure Alex is an onest buyer/seller!

I'm not insinuating anything. But even after 1989 books were stolen from libraries. A lady at the Military Library told me they had to check the books even when they were returned from the lecture chamber because some individuals were ripping pages from them.

@dragos,

I was not also accusing you of doing that. But, since you raised a very valid point, I just thought that some additional info is to be added to the topic.

All in all, the book is sold as it is, and the potential buyer needs to know a 100 % accurate info on it.

My very best to you all,

Alex

dragos, what about peoples who work in libraries and scrouges books (and from museums too)? I can give you many examples, but.... the week end just start. Hapy birthday too all Gabriel (me also) and Mihail. I will drink a cup for each book stolen from libraries!
