Hi, My father (Dutch Nationality), who isn't with us anymore, worked in Bukarest during the 1943/1944 period in the aircraft industry. I know very little about this timeframe since my father never talked about WWII. However, I believe he was a "cylinder head specialist".
The only aircraft facility I could find is ASAM Pipera Bukarest (at the old airfield).
They relaired BL109's and FW190's, I believe.
Questions:
1. Were there other repair/construction faculities around/in Bukarest?
2. Is there a way to get access to/ are there still records available somewhere?

Thanks a lot for your help and regards,

Marcel
