I'm looking for the internal structure of the Regiment 3.Vanatori Moto and the
Regiment 4.Vanatori Moto of the Divizia 1.Blindate as of June, 1941. Can anyone help? Thanks, Montbrun |

You will find a detailed listing of the 1st Armored Division's OoB for 1941 in a table on page 9 of the the MODEList no. 3 issue (see http://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/index.php?showtopic=5354). It is a common mistake to assume that both regiments were mobilized. In reality only one regiment made up of one battalion from each of the two was deployed:
3/4th Motorized Vânători Regiment o Command Company: Signals Platoon and Traffic Platoon o Recon Company: Motorized Infantry Platoon and AT Platoon o Pioneer Company: 1st and 2nd Pioneer Platoons o Heavy Weapons Company: 1st and 2nd AT Platoons, 81 mm Mortar Platoon o 1st Battalion: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Rifle Companies, 4th Machine-Gun Company o 2nd Battalion: 5th, 6th and 7th Rifle Companies, 8th Machine-Gun Company It was commanded by the CO of the 3rd Regiment, col. Nistor. |

I appreciate the response. How does someone in the US get their hands on a copy?
Thanks, Montbrun |
