It has come to my attention that the Rumanian term"Tanc" was not used until after the war. The wartime term for a Tanc was "Care de Lupta." What was the wartime term for "Antitanc?" "Anticare de Lupta?" Also, I would like to know the proper wording for a Heavy Artillery Battalion - is it "Batalion 37. Artilerie Grea?" I know that an artillery battalion within a dedicated artllery regiment was referred to as a "Divizion," but what about the independent battalions?
I'm sure I'll have more questions about proper usage as time goes on. Thanks, Montbrun |

With which types of units is it appropriate to use the term "Divizion," as opposed to the term "Batalion?"

The cavalry squadron was the equivalent of the infantry company, not of the battalion. |
