Luftwaffe in Romania, - what German air units in june 1941? -

General de divizie Group: Members Posts: 1463 Member No.: 2323 Joined: December 02, 2008	I cannot seem to find the German units that attacked alongside the Romanian Air Forces on 22.06.1941. The maps show the JG 77, along with JG 52, but how many planes and what type were there? Or, at least, where can I find these numbers? -------------------- M

I have read about a „bombing raid” with German and Romanian forces on Odessa on 22.06, but so far only on the site of Mr. Solonin, in the excerpts of his „Sleeping airfields” book. It seems rather odd that I have not found any other reference so far. Could you shed some light upon this particular aspect, Denes?
