For many people it is hard or even impossible to find Monitoarele Oficiale from 1941-1945 in our days. Mostly because in many Romanian libraries Monitoarele from World War II period were destroyed after communist party came to power in Romania (1947). But I still believe that some exemplars are still in life and that many enthusiasts are working with them. In Monitoarele Oficiale we can find a lot of interesting information regarding the laws of that period, names of decorated soldiers etc. Therefore, I think it will be interesting and very useful to share copies of those Monitoare. Please correct me if I am talking about something illegal. Or, if a such topic was opened already.

Copying them is not illegal, since the official laws are public domain in Romania. But it would proove rather difficult to scan thousands of pages (one year has more than 10000 pages, only the 1st part).

Biblioteca Centrală Universitară from Cluj is in full process of digitisation it's collections. They scan at request what the reader want. If they have MO, ask them to scan it for you.

BCU Iasi has it, as well; only I don't think they're "digitalized" yet...

Yes, you are absolutely right. The Biblioteca Centrală Universitară from Cluj is in the process of digitization it's collections. They even have MO. But they do not know when MO will be digitalized because there are so many other priorities. All my attempts to make a request for scanned MO failed.
