Thanks for posting this, perhaps a side comment...the 3 officers or NCO mid page don't look very Rumanian to me....as into the other picture with the Soviets and AAR officers , I think I saw it somewhere..related to Tecuci airfield

The picture of the 3 soldiers is very interesting looking at the field caps, leg-wraps and web-belts, in my opinion they are British soldiers.
A high resolution scan would need to be made so an identification of the Regimental hat badge can be determined. Kevin in Deva. |

Yeah, I thought so too, additionally these uniform types
seems to be of post WWI or even during that period. Alex K This post has been edited by yugit on December 23, 2011 10:15 am |

Great photos! What type are those two planes? Or there is only one, in both pictures? This post has been edited by Agarici on December 23, 2011 11:38 am |

@Agarici, I think the plane you mention is an Junkers F13. http://www.europeanairlines.no/fleet-list-...tate-de-statul/

this photo is available on various Russian websites rather than Ebay This post has been edited by yugit on December 23, 2011 08:31 pm |

I also published this photo, I believe for the first time, in the Monography of the Hs 129, published by MBI in Prague, Czech Republic.

It's mid-1941.
This is a well photographed aircraft. Gen. Dénes |
