I knew that. But, "Romanian Me-109", I think it is too much. BTW, who's the pilot?

We can give the seller the "benefit of the doubt". The picture features a Romanian sublocotenent sitting on a Bf.109 with no visible insignia or markings. Maybe the seller was unable to identify the version of Bf.109 as an "F" and probably did not know that Romania did not use Bf.109F anyway. Mistakes can happen. I would never pay that much for a photo though.

Looks like those pictures are from a romanian ace pilot family collection.
In one of the picture is a wedding and the decorated pilot looks like Cpt. Dan Scurtu. Anyway all the pictures with B-24 are from the crash place of the B-24 SN 42-40265 "Honky Tonk Gal", radio code " W " (with top bar) |
