Depends what do you mean by war (Sept. 1939, or May 1941). This German propaganda photo (the negative is currently hold at ECPA, in France) was taken sometimes in the spring of 1941, nearby Ploesti. Gen. Dénes |

Thanks for the info, i've seen that ECPAD watermark on some other photos before and was curious what it ment, i've just read that they have thousands of luftwaffe/wehrmacht negatives but they can be consulted only onsite unfortunately

Could be but the quality is very low to say the least.
I have an offtopic question for the other members, what are the odds that rare/interesting pictures will continue to pop-up after all these years ? Has anything interesting been found in the last years ? Are there any archives that could possibly have not been checked yet ? |
