At the beginning of WWI, A. E. Lahovary was Romanian ambassador to Italy. It 1917 he was transfered to Paris. Three questions:
1. Does anyone know why? 2. Who replaced him in Rome? 3. Who did he replace in Paris? Thanks, and be cautious with your reply. There are a whole bunch more ambassadors I'm looking for (will this project never end?) from Romania and if you know this one, you may get asked about the others.
