The 60mm Brandt mle 35 was bought just before WW2 (I can't find the exact date) and after that was produced under license locally. As soon as the Voina factory started to produce them, it became the standard support weapon at company level. France sold the license for about 175 pieces, but the Romanian war industry produced them in larger quantities, as required by the army. Each company had 3 pieces, that is 27 pieces for each regiment. I'm sure it was already a standard weapon by the 1st of September 1939.

Thanks Mircea, I was just confused when I saw the date M.1939 for the Romanian 60mm and the French being M.1935, I thought they had bought the M.1935s and supplied them to the Army in 1939.
