In scale 1:1, the dimensions of that panel are:
L = 72.00cm H = 29.00cm I = 26.00cm Maybe Cantacuzino can tell you a bit more about the particular instrument panel in your photo. HTH Radu |

many thanks Radu! i'm strugling for some time and forums to find out some details...but no one responded to me. regarding my picture...it is the most beautiful replica of a IAR80 panel i've seen. all hand made and of course it is made by Cantacuzino. he went on IAR81C...i will go on IAR80, but 1:1scale so he will have something to stare at! There were a number of differences in the IAR80 instrument panels during production. If you can wait until the summer, there will be a new book on the subject that will answer a lot of questions.
I saw that scale 1:4 instrument panel (as well as the airframe that is supposed to house it) in real life and it is impressive. Cantacuzino, finish that model! Radu |
