Hi!
Please help me identify this object. please look at the pictures below. please identify the elements of a projectile from the second world war. Note the two initial 08 or 06 and clearly write the number 12 below it, and I also notice that the initial 2 AV or A.O. please look at the picture What weapon was used, where it was manufactured? In that period it was made? How long was used on the front was used. I hope I have not bothered with so many questions and thank you! The dimensions are as follows: Length: 112 mm; diameter: 26 mm. Looks like a Hotchkiss 13.2mm case.

It's a 14.5x114mm heavy machinegun round from the communist era (the "80" headstamp is the manufacturing year). Ww2 era cartridges in this calibre were made of brass. More info on http://www.municion.org/14_5x114/14_5x114.htm
