The much enlarged and updated English language version of my earlier book published in Prague in 2007 (see separate thread) will now appear in the UK, in two volumes. Volume 1 is planned to be published in September 2010.

It is now listed on all amazon sites, including amazon.com

I'm looking forward to these books. I'm very glad to see that Helion picked up the publication of the English version. I've done business with Duncan Rogers for about 15 years now, and he's an honest and reliable person - not to mention a nice guy.

It appears the publication of this book has been brought back to the first opening months of 2011. I think more specifically its: 17th of January according to Amazon.

Yes, the book has been delayed by several months. However, you will get more information and photos in exchange...

Just a curious question: volume II will deal with 1945-1989 timeframe or until NATO membership (1999, IIRC)?

The way I understand it, Volume 1 will deal with organization, campaigns, etc., and Volume 2 will deal with equipment - all for the WWII period.

More precisely, the 1919-1945 timeframe (although the weight is obviously on the WW2 era).

The April 2011 catalogue of Helion gives the revised publishing date as July. Let's hope they are correct.
