Dear Collectors! The subject of the photo underneath the cartridge Mauser often caught among the shells on the Romanian military positions near Odessa, he was made of copper / brass. What is it?

It's one of the fixing points from a Mosin Nagant m1891 hand guard. The Mosin Nagant m1891 was also used by the Romanian second line units.

Much gratitude to the distinguished mihnea from me and other collectors of the Romanian Royal Army from the city of Odessa - cleared up yet another "mystery". Regards, Ricardo.
