In an era that history started at 23/8/1944 ,when all low lifes became generals profesors ,hight ranking oficials and ...yes writers and editors I can be sceptical about this kind of invented heros.

The more somebody fought in a war, the more he suffered, the less the need to talk later about that. Usually the real veterans don't brag about what they did - they keep their memories for themselves. |

Re: Marin Nastase, 2-nd motorized artillery: I've just found today a reprimand from 09.1940, because he didn't salute, being busy entertaining a female companion. This is fresh from the military archives.
