In Rumania, it was published in Aeromagazin, about 4-5 years ago.
I do not publish my articles on the web, only in printed form.

I'd like to thank to everyone for the info added to this topic, very interesting. smile.gif

I was thinking if there was a 11th Assault Group to be created, would there have been a 9th and 10th Group ( assault , dive- bomber, fighter- bomber etc ) planned to be raised?

Thanks.

QUOTE (Dénes @ January 30, 2012 06:19 am)
I published a detailed article on the activity related to the low-level attack of Mocsár/Mociar airfield on 31 August 1944 (published also in Rumania). All victories and losses are listed in there.

Gen. Dénes

Yes , you are correct . I was using that article for the list . I hope you don`t mind !
@yugit there`s also a list with claims on aerial combat (dogfight) also is that what you need ?

The best and proper solution would be to scan the relevant pages and post them here, mentioning the source.

Dénes

You know that I live abroad and I have no ways of getting
a hold of your publication in Bucharest, but I am sure you
a copy , why is difficult to post the on here ?

As into Cobbey site, your post in Hungarian language
is basically accurate although may I ask you what book
or what material you used regarding Rudel ?

In the 80's when I met Hartmann he stated
that Rudel was not around nor was stationed
in there , as well the memoires he left me
( other than his books) contradicting the fact
on Rudel

Ovichelu
======

If you have a complete list of Luftwaffe
pilot losses air and ground & air less Fonnekold
would appreciate it

Time, Alex, or better the lack of thereof. Besides work and family, I am also working on several book projects.
On the top of that, I have all my references and scanner in my working room, where it's too cold now.

Please enlighten me which site is that, where I posted on Rudel in Hungarian?

Bernard

Understood, ok no prob thanks anyways.

The mentioned site is :

http://web.me.com/weekley/John_Cobbey/Edwa..._on_Rhegin.html

"Mustangok gépágyúinak dördüléseit, az én gépem ég az elsô
átrepülés után, még egy szakaszon továbbgurult. Örültem,
hogy már nem vagyok benne."10 Rudel sértetlenül
megúszta a támadást, viszont a másik leszálló gép
pilótája, Hofmeister hadnagy olyan súlyos sérüléseket
szenvedett, hogy lábát amputálni kellett. 11"

A year ago I helpped the owner to determine Cobbeys air kills
at Reghin and at that time I translated the text with my
translator. It was posted in Hungarian by you or a friend of
yours and then was mentioned about him.

Finally maybe you can share on here the subject on the
books you work on ? I may pay back with something
similar

Alex

Rudel juped ot of the airplane- safe(he and his wingman were preparing to land when the mustag`s started to strafe the airfield)
Hoffenmeiser -WIA
Heintz Krah-WIA (dead in hospital)
These being the only that I could identify.
As loses in air battle Luftwaffe had :
9 bf 109 , 2 fw 190(rudel`s and wingman) and 1 do 217, only pilot from the bf 109 identified is Heintz Krah .
Hope it helps !

The excerpt was copied from the newspaper of my home town, Népujsag.
The source ought to be mentioned.

As for the book I am currently working on, check this:

OK, thanks.....Denes. While SG2 was under
his command on Aug.1944..I am not clear
if they transitioned to FW-190 at that time....
neither if he was active at II./SG2 Rumania.

An other rumor is that he or his gunner
shot down Lev Shestakov 69 GvIAP near Odessa
earlier in March. By now is clear that Shestakov
fate was otherwise sealed and had nothing to
do with Rudel.

Ovichelu .thanks . as into Rude he couldn't
have been a battle casualty or a loss ....I can't
talk about his wingman as I have no details..
maybe you meant their airplanes . But again
my sources citing Rudel not present at Reghin
at that time & place.
