Avia Ba.122 Unit?

Hello Again,

I guess that I asked a harder question than I realised at the time. Perhaps I could broaden the question a little. Are any of the units in which the Avia Ba.122 served with the ARR known?

I'm not an expert but i doubt that it ever served for military purposes, it's not uncommon to see Michael's Cross on civil/training airplanes.

Thanks for the reply. Denes Bernad does list the Ba.122 with 7 examples in his list for training,liaison and courier aircraft in Rumanian Air Force The Prime Decade 1938-1947, so it would appear probable that the Ba.122 did see service with the ARR, perhaps impressed civilian machines?

I have a logbook of an ARR pilot who crashed to his death aboard an Avia Ba.122, Nr. 43.

The unit (based on the last stamp) was Centrul Militar de Pilotaj, Escadrila 2-a vânatoare (Military Piloting Centre, 2nd Fighter Squadron).
