You have to take with a pinch of salt what C. Bergström writes on the air war on the Eastern Front, as in my opinion he tends to lean towards the Soviet side and take the Soviet claims as is.

Do you know if his other books from this series ( except Kursk ) cover other airforces except LW/VVS ?

Last 2 weeks, it's really a shame that i had to go to modelism to grab Misiuni de Sacrificiu because EM will not fulfill their online orders..i wonder why their shop is still up if no-one bothers to manage it, i even called and asked for the online order to be fulfilled, that's unheard of really...

The 2nd edition (2009) of "Moţii...." is of extremelly poor quality of paper, printing and page layout. I had years ago the 1st edition (1928) which was waaaaaaaaaay much better than the new one. 1st edition was of so good quality that it suffer no comparison with the new one, which is practically "bătaie de joc".

LE: all this 3 book can be bought at Librăria Institutului de Istorie "George Bariţiu", str. Napoca nr 11, Cluj-Napoca. I bought them today. The one about saxons costs .... 4,25 lei! smile.gif

They do not care anymore, they are not motivated to work hard or they don't know how to scan and improve the original images... I've seen this many times in the new books. Blocky images, low/high contrasts and what not.

It's not only about that: the paper quality is poor, the making of the book is extremelly poor (I just took a look at it and pages started to fly around!!!) and many other faults. It was a good oportunity for mr Felea, who edited it, to make some easy money: the book had a price of 40 lei!

Can you post some of the contents or an abstract of the book? When you have some time to spare.

The contents and some fragments are available here:

I haven't read it yet. Just started it.
