Miaskiewicz was the engineer on Lt.McLain crew 99th BG which departed for Ploesti on May 18,1944. His remains may have been discovered by US Army DPMO Hawai while searching in Bulgaria also for Lt Menge crew 463rd BG and Lt.Crouchley crew 485th BG all Rumania fallen aircrews.
