I was curious if someone has already looked into these ? They seem to cover quite a lot of interesting matters such as :

QUOTE
Verbindungsstelle Rumanien file, containing lists of areas
designated by the Rumanian government as out of bounds to all airplanes*
suggestions for the improvement of armaments in airplanes
submitted by Rumanian engineers and correspondence pertaining to
Frontreparaturbetriebe and administrative coordination of Rumanian
and German personnel, 1942- 1943.

QUOTE
Verbindungsstelle Rumanien file, containing lists of planes
received from Germany by Rumania during the period from January 1943
to May 1944.

QUOTE
Verbindungsstelle Rumanien file of reports on the- Rumanian
aircraft and spare parts industry, with appraisals of the individual
companies involved, 1943.

QUOTE
Deutsche Luftwaffenmission in Ruma'nien file, containing
correspondence pertaining to experiment s made by the Rumanian
air-force, in cooperation with Germany, in devising new armaments
and safety measures for planes, 1942 - 1944.

QUOTE
Befehlshaber der deutschen Luftwaffe in Rumanien file
"Liberator III amerik. Beuteflugzeug," containing correspondence
on the transfer of the Liberator III, shot down over Rumanian territory,
to Germany for testing, as well as a report on its operation, 1943

And so on..full index below

I have, partially.
The problem is that these microfilm rolls are available only for purchase, for a significant amount.
Also, they are hard to handle and read.
Nevertheless, it's an excellent source of primary info on ARR.

Yes, the grand total is indeed 1850$ for digital copies on DVD's, they offer this service too since some years as i've read, microfilm is a bit cheaper but as you said more difficult to read/handle.

The DVD's contain JPEG's with good quality scans for each page of the documents. I've also read today that the original documents were returned to the Bundesarchiv so maybe there is a way to obtain them from there, although i failed to find an online ordering service there.

Maybe there will be a way somewhere in the future to get all of these and share them, i'm sure they're packed with interesting data and insights.

I recently contacted someone who could scan and send digital copies of these rolls, i've seen on other forums that people contributed by collecting smaller amounts of cash towards the cost, would people here be interested ?

Here is the entire index of this roll : http://maparchive.ru/nara-doc/luftwaffe/T405.pdf

I was thinking on Roll 61 which contains more interesting info in one roll ( the price is per 95$ / roll )

If 10 people could contribute with 33 RON each we could buy it.

Denes have you already seen this specific roll ?

There is always something new to see for me, but not this particular roll.
If there are other persons who wish to join their efforts in ordering microfilms, you can count on me.

Since i think that you are the only person from here to have access to most of these maybe you can propose something that you didn't have the chance to look into and which would be of interest to others here.

It would be a good opportunity to shed some light maybe on other less covered facts

Here are the NARA microfilm rolls I have:
T-77/427
T-321/11, 12 and 92
T-405/53, 54, 55, 56, 60 and 61.
Unnumbered one with USAAF losses.

I am interested in any other roll that refers to Rumanian aviation.
