I have a Romanian VZ-24 made by Brno, would appreciate knowing what is the correct sling for this rifle. Also I have a Beretta M1934 with Romanian acceptance marks. What is the correct holster for this pistol in Romanian srvice? Were the Romanian steel helmets ever issued without the King Carol device on the front? Thanks again for all your help. Garry Owen!!!!!!!!

9mm scurt (9mm corto, 9mm kurtz, .380 acp) not 9mm parabellum. Very nice pistol, very reliable, and very well made. Mine was made in 1941, when was yours made? Garry Owen!!

I wish I had one, but I don't. I just wanted to confirm the caliber because I saw a picture of one in a Romanian WWII history book. Just curious, if you shot it, how is its precision and grouping? Strong kick? |

IIRC, 35,000 Beretta pistols were bought by the Romanian Army and were made with markings in Romanian.

You can see the sling of ZB-24 here: http://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?t=611
Yes, after the occupation of Holland the helmets were delivered without badge. |

Thanks for the information, you've been very helpful . Mabadesc, the Beretta pistol is very accurate for a small pistol, and because of the cartridge , recoil is minimal. It is a most pleasant weapon to shoot. Garry Owen!!!!
