Finaly I'm back
During the holydays I took veteran fightere pilot Ioan Marinciu to Dan and Andrei Zybaczynski(don't try to read it) who are Il -2 experts.
They explained IM how it works and then he tried to fly.
To our disapointment he didn't do good He was looking all the time at the bord indicators and the horizon...
He also said that the controls were much more soft than in a 109 and the feed back vibrations while firing were unreal,because when firing you felt nothing.
After the flight,mr. Marinciu tought us some tactics and told some stories.
It was an interesting experience.
