I have been running into occasional pictures of these planes, however they were poor quality....

Does anyone happen to have good pictures of them? Even if they're of replicas, it should be good enough. I'm looking especially for pictures of the placement of the pilot, gunner and observer (it had a 3 man crew right?)

In the french " Air magazine" ( don't remember the number) there is an complete article full with documented history, tehnical data and many pictures (included of the cockpit) of the IAR 37,38,39. If you want I can scan the pages for you but for this I need your e-mail adress. :roll:

I doubt a book on this family of airplanes can be published outside Rumania, due to the limited market appeal.
Once I suggested to a well known Western publisher a small book on the topic, but they refused me citing the readers' lack of interest on this "obscure airplane type".
