Hi Kevin
Yes, the Order of the Cross of Queen Marie was awarded into WWII. I have a copy of an award document for the bestowal of the 2nd class of this order to a Doctor Major of the 19th Ambulance Division, for "devotion and skill shown in the war against Soviet Russia".
